LAMP (Latin American Mission Project)

(Northminster, Park Central, Pebble Hill, Onondaga Valley, South, Robinson Memorial, Parish-Hastings, Fayetteville United, King Ferry)    

Has had four mission trips to Campeche Presbytery, Mexico, since February 2004, for construction work, to teach Vacation Bible School, to supply theological books for a seminary, and to build relationships.  A delegation from Campeche visited here in September 2004. Along with Southern Comfort M&M, a joint mission project with Campeche members was sponsored in Gautier, Mississippi in Feb. 2006. Afterwards, several Campechanos returned to Syracuse and Old Forge for a few days in order to experience winter. 

Our most recent trip began on February 20, 2007,   when a group of 11 people from three local Presbyterian churches went for a weeklong construction project in Campeche, Mexico.
