Follow up to our International Peacemaker:
Many have asked about contributing to Dr. Maqsood Kamil's work in Pakistan and providing a follow up to the discussion. There are a couple of ways to support the ministry of the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan. The first is that contributions can be made through the PCUSA's Extra Commitment Opportunities.
Individual contributions can be sent to
PCUSA Individual Remittance Processing
PO Box 643700
Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3700
Congregational contributions may be sent to
PCUSA Church Remittance Processing
PO Box 643678
Pittsburgh, PA 15263-3678
Please make sure to write on the check ECO 864351.
This number will insure that the funds will be designated to Support-Pakistan. In addition please make sure that on the check and cover letter that the money is to be designated for the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan as not all of the ECO for the number are for the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan which is the organization through which Dr. Kamil works.
Another way might be to consider partnering with a congregation or the presbytery in an ongoing relationship of support. There are many ways that Dr. Kamil reaches out to the people of Pakistan, particular the Christian communities which may interest you as you consider your future support.
